Keith Ray, Board Member, Legal Counsel
I am the owner of The Ray Law Firm, LLC in Centennial, Colorado and have served on multiple non-profit boards of directors over the years including Colorado Lawyers for the Arts and the Fort Lewis College Alumni Association. I have known Vicki Mackie for over 30 years. When I learned how Sites and Insights uses art to help cancer survivors and their caregivers, I was excited to become a part of this great organization.
Cathy Hartman, Board Member, Development Director, and Web Support
I retired in 2020 after a long career in technology. I have always wanted to volunteer somewhere where I could help people. When I was approached to become part of Sites and Insights, I jumped at the chance. I was hooked after learning more about Sites and Insights and seeing how they transform the lives of cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. My personal experience with cancer has come through family members, friends, and work colleagues who have valiantly fought this disease. I am very thankful for those who have survived and still hold those who were not as fortunate close to my heart. The program has helped me process emotions I didn’t know I was holding on to.
Leslie Ruhl, Certified SAI Facilitator and Volunteer Coordinator
As a cancer survivor since 2002, I wanted to give back. I found myself drawn to volunteering in the Cancer Center at the University of Colorado Hospital. While there, I attended a Sites and Insights class. From the moment I entered the room, I felt the caring, giving and compassion of the facilitators, Vicki and Deb. I was amazed at how emotions can be expressed so thoroughly using color and art. At that point, I knew there were so many cancer patients, survivors and caregivers that could benefit from this class. Watching Vicki and Deb pour their hearts into this program made my passion grow and I knew I had to be a part of this wonderful nonprofit.
